Converted loft residences are among the hottest properties listed on the Downtown Milwaukee real estate market, and when you get a glimpse at just how unique and desirable many of these living spaces are on the inside, you’ll likely understand why. Most Milwaukee lofts for sale are housed inside some of the city’s oldest industrial buildings and warehouses, giving each individual loft unit a certain amount of charm and character that’s hard to duplicate in any other property-type. Interior features and finishes like high timber ceilings, exposed brick walls, huge concrete columns, and oversized industrial windows are all unique to residential lofts for the most part, and that’s really only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to attractive features most Milwaukee lofts feature. Listed below are active lofts for sale around Downtown Milwaukee, so for a closer look at what each unit has to offer, click on something that catches your eye.

While the inventory of lofts for sale around Downtown Milwaukee may be more extensive than you might think, there are still only a handful of buildings that generally stand out above the rest. From a luxury standpoint, the 601 Lofts at 601 E. Ogden, the Atelier Condominiums at 318 E. Chicago, and the converted loft spaces over at Hansen’s Landing tend to be three of the more superior loft conversions in terms of chic interior finishes and a premium location within the city. But that certainly doesn't mean other loft buildings around Downtown Milwaukee don’t offer supreme desirability and a great value to anybody looking for a new place to live. In fact, you shouldn’t be too hard-pressed to some unique opportunities in the $250,000 to $400,000 price range, but don’t expect many of these loft units to sit on the market long!
If you’re in the market for a new loft condo, start your search over in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward—a former warehouse and industrial district that now features some of the coolest loft conversions in town. East Town also has a few options when it comes to authentic loft conversions, as does Yankee Hill and parts of the Lower East Side.
